Support
Pigeon is a desktop HTTP client for Windows and macOS (portable builds, Microsoft Store and Mac App Store).
Contact
Email [email protected]. Please include your operating system, the Pigeon version (Settings → General → Updates) and the steps to reproduce the problem. If the app shows an error, the log file (Settings → General → Open log folder) helps; it never contains request data or passwords.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Pigeon works fully offline and never asks you to sign in.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your computer: in the Pigeon-data folder next to the portable app, in %APPDATA%\Pigeon for the Microsoft Store version, in ~/Library/Application Support/Pigeon for the macOS download, and in the app's private container for the Mac App Store version. Settings → General shows the folder and opens it.
How do I import from Postman?
Click Import and choose a Postman Collection (v2.0 or v2.1) or environment file. You can also paste a cURL command straight into the URL bar.
How do I use variables?
Create an environment, add variables, then write them as {{name}} in the URL, headers, auth or body. Hover a variable to see where its value comes from.
My request fails with a certificate error
Open Settings → Certificates and add your company's CA certificate, or turn off SSL verification for that request in its Settings tab.
Can I write tests?
Yes. Open a request's Scripts tab and use the Postman-compatible pm API, for example pm.test("Status is 200", () => pm.response.to.have.status(200)). Results appear in the response's Tests tab.
